ABOUT OUR MUSE
CLIO
In Greek Mythology, Clio is the muse of history.
Daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne (the goddess of memory), she embodies the spirit of history, chronicling major events, and honoring heroic deeds so they are not forgotten. This aligns with our goals to empower voices, impact society, and remember the events that shouldn't be forgotten.
Symbols: scroll, trumpet, laurel crown (thus our logo!)

Our Vision
Founded in July 2025 by Oriane Hong and Jo Tam, The Clio is a non-profit youth literary magazine built on three guiding principles: to empower, to make an impact, and to remember.
As both writers, an avid admirers of Greek mythology, as well as people who deeply believes in the power of young voices to spark change, Oriane and Jo envisioned The Clio as a natural extension of those passions.
The magazine was created to provide a platform where young creators can express themselves on contemporary issues, highlight meaningful works of art, and ensure that every published issue and blog article reflects on a recent news event—so that these stories, and the lessons they carry, are never forgotten.
