Dear Reader,
For this issue, we've invited our writers and artists to think about, write about, and create something on the theme of psychological impact.
The bombings. The fires. The killings. As a magazine that empowers youth to speak up on contemporary issues, we've noticed how much reading the news, and being sensible to the problems that cloud our world, can truly impact us.
Thus, we hereby invited artists to explore the consequences of this exposure.
In a broader sense, our aim for this issue was to have a collection of scars in the form of art. A time something affected you. A memory you set a reminder to forget. A person, a moment, you can't erase from your psyche. What did they do to you?
This is the aftermath. The marks in your soul. The prints in your mind.
Sincerely,
The Clio
